Podiatrist Kristen from Coast Sport consults in the practice weekly on a Monday, assisting patients of all ages with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of various lower limb issues of the foot and ankle. She provides an extensive range of services and treatments, including but not limited to:

Elwyn consults in the practice weekly on a Tuesday offering both Occupational Therapy and Counselling services for adults, detailed below.

These services are direct-billed to Medicare for patients referred by their GP on an Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC) or Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP).

  • Home and Functional assessments

  • Education of Clients and Carers on strategies to maximise home safety and function

  • Recommendation, design and application for funding assistance for home modifications (both minor and major modifications)

  • Recommendation of equipment / aids to maximise function, and application for funding assistance as required

  • Assessment and Education in use of disability equipment and manual handling techniques.

  • Grief and loss counselling including separation and adjustment issues

  • Personal development and training in stress and anxiety management

  • Family, Parenting and Relationship Enrichment Counselling

  • Solution-focused Therapy, Sensory Modulation, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Psycho-education and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy techniques utilised.
